Even more shocking than the violence of the brawl was the fact that several of the players even went after the ball a couple of times. / kicked the ball a couple of times. What do they think this is, some kind of game?
Being penalised for 20 years is pretty harsh. Then again, being kicked in the face over some silly ball-game is pretty harsh too.

It’s the third violent incident involving teams from the Blacktown City junior rugby league club this season, after an carpark assault at an under-12s game and a supporter grabbing a 13-year-old opponent around the neck. Good to see at least the players have now taken responsibility for their own violent outbursts.
Of course, Miki Hughes deserved it. After all, he was stupid enough to play rugby league. / he DID play a weekend ball game.
